Abstract: MnGeo's Geospatial Image Server has been developed to provide versatile access to large statewide raster databases according to the Open GIS Consortium’s Web Map Service (WMS) standards.

Purpose: The Geospatial Image Server has been developed to serve large statewide raster databases using the Open GIS Consortium’s Web Map Service (WMS) standards. WMS access reduces the need for other agencies to host their own equivalant services.
