NRCS GIS Engineering Tools Have been posted to the MNGEO FTP Site and are available for download.
The free, python based toolsets for ArcGIS 9.3 and 10.0 allow for user friendly use of Lidar Data for field office applications,
Hydro-Conditioning, Watershed Delineation, conservation planning and more.

I have just started using your tools and man do they save me a bunch of time.
A comment was made during the questions portion of the presentation regarding average slope values being high when using the watershed delineation tool set. The final product shows average slope values around 14 for farmland. My DEM only notes a vertical change of 40ft across the entire AOI of about 10,000 acres. Have you run into this issue? If so what is the cause for these high values.
To check the values I ran the add surface information tool in 3D Analyst and it returned different more believable values.
