| Lineage | Data Sources: 1:15,840 Black and White Aerial Photography (1982) 1:24,000 USGS 7.5-Minute Quadrangles Field surveys done in late 1970's and early 1980's Field checks Processing Steps: The data were originally photo-interpreted from 1982, 1:15,840 black and white aerial photography. Section lines were digitized from USGS 7.5-minute quadrangle maps. Land boundaries were also transferred from the photos where needed. Where coincident lines existed (lakes, roads, section lines), lines digitized from the USGS quadrangle were used. The Forest Inventory data is updated as changes occur across the landscape. A reinventory is planned for 1998-1999. |
