| Lineage | Source data are: 1. Census Bureau TIGER/Line Files, Version 2000 2. A block equivalency file for Legislative Districts provided by the Minnesota State Court Redistricting Panel. A block equivalency file is a dBase-formatted file listing each census block in Minnesota and the house or senate district to which the block is assigned. Using Maptitude Software, the source data were used to create a Legislative Districts boundary file in Caliper format. This file was then converted into a shapefile.
