Abstract Check points were collected in Pine County, Minnesota for use in quality-checking the vertical accuracy of the county's LiDAR data. The 100 check points were distributed across the county. Twenty check points were collected in each ground cover category outlined in FEMA's guideline and specifications. The check points were collected with survey grade GPS.
Purpose The GPS check points were collected to use in a quality check of the Pine County LiDAR data's vertical accuracy.
