Section 2 Data Quality
Attribute Accuracy Attributes were visually checked against a map of regional development commission region names and codes.
Logical Consistency Data have been topologically structured and verified.
Completeness Islands in Lake Superior are not included in the file.
Horizontal Positional Accuracy Unknown.
Lineage The Land Management Information Center (LMIC), now MnGeo, downloaded the 1990 U.S. Census TIGER/Line county boundary file, as processed by the Minnesota Legislative GIS Office. Using ARC/INFO, the counties were labelled with the regional development commission names and codes, and the county boundaries were dissolved to create the regional development commission boundary file.

The file has been converted from the original Arc/INFO coverage format to shapefile format.
