| Abstract | Red River Watershed Management Board (RRWMB) Red River Turbidity TMDL surface water quality monitoring station locations, including stream and ditch sites. This data set was created as part of the RRWMB's Red River Turbidity TMDL Project. Under this program there are 18 monitoring stations that are sampled bi-monthly during ice off conditions. Water quality variables collected include: Temperature, pH, Turbidity, Conductivity, Dissolved Oxygen, Total Suspended Solids, and Stage. The data set contains locational data and limited attributes for all Turbidity TMDL stream chemistry stations. Water quality information collected from these stations is reported to the EPA's national STORET water quality database through the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. |

| Horizontal Positional Accuracy | The accuracy of the station locations is fairly consistant. The locations were obtained by gps readings with varying equipment. In general, inspections show that most of the station locations are sufficient to determine where the water course is being monitored, but may be more than 100 yards away from the actual monitoring location. | |||
| Vertical Positional Accuracy | The gps units used to collect this position information do not provide a very accurate elevation mark and thus the elevation information is not included in this dataset. | |||
