| Lineage | Tax parcel data for the City of Sandstone located in Pine County, MN. The data was developed by short Elliott Hendrickson (SEH) Inc. under contract for the city of Sandstone. Data appears to have been developed by drawing the parcels to legal descriptions in a CAD Environment. The original CAD data was then converted to an ESRI Shapefile in 2000. Horizontal control appears to be very limited, and there are known deficiencies with the horizontal positional accuracy. In 2002 the East Central Regional Development Commission (ECRDC) obtained tax assessor's data from the Assessor's office, and joined the data to the shapefile. Based on each parcel's PIN, it was possible to create an output shapefile that accurately depicts the zoning throughout the city. |
