Currentness Reference Map was delineated in 1994, and revised as of July 1, 1996, based on the subsurface information available at the time. The year 2000 version updates the 1996 state bedrock map with the last 3 years of mapping derived from county atlas projects and various miscellaneous maps at a variety of scales.

Use Constraints The county boundary file from the MnDOT Basemap project was used in this product. A text file named 'MNDOT.txt' contains a disclaimer from the Minnesota Department of Transportation. This text is required when any of the geographic data from their 'Basemap' digital data set is used by any outside party.
