Rick Gelbmann
Rick Gelbmann is the GIS Manager at the Metropolitan Council. His role is to
guide and promote GIS design, development and implementation, which serve
Council-wide and regional GIS needs. He worked for 15 years at the Minnesota
Department of Natural Resources before moving to the Metropolitan Council in
1993. He is a member of the MetroGIS Coordinating Committee and Technical
Advisory Team and served as a member of the Minnesota Governor’s Council on
Geographic Information from 2001 – 2009.
