Jon Gustafson

Jon Gustafson is the Chief Surveyor for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District. In this role, Jon supervises, directs, coordinates, and is considered the subject matter expert on all surveying and mapping activities within the District's area of responsibility. As such, he serves as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) on all survey and mapping contracts for the District. Jon also holds a concurrent role as the District Datum Coordinator, which tasks him with ensuring all projects are designed and constructed to the most current geodetic datums promulgated by the National Geodetic Survey, NOAA.

Jon holds a license to practice land surveying in multiple states, is a Certified Federal Surveyor (CFedS), and carries a professional certification in Geographic Information Systems (GISP). Jon is also an active member in various professional societies as well as the Geospatial Community of Practice with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
