Doug Hansen is a Senior GIS Specialist with Crow Wing County where he
is responsible for the management, training and deployment of GIS
technology within the county. He has been with Crow Wing County
since 2001, where he started as a GIS Specialist in the County Auditor’s
office. Doug is currently Vice President of the Minnesota Counties
GIS Association (MCGISA), an association of county professionals whose
mission is to advance GIS technology in Minnesota county governments by
providing leadership, support and advocacy. He has also served on
the MN GIS/LIS Conference Committee the last few years. Doug is a
graduate (2007-2008) of the Brainerd Lakes Chamber of Commerce’s
"Leadership, the Lakes Area" program.
He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of
Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1999.
