
Victoria Reinhardt is the Chair of the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners.
She has testified before Congress about local government collaboration in the
area of GIS. Victoria is a nationally recognized leader on environmental issues.
She was first elected to the Ramsey County Board in 1996. Her work at Ramsey
County has a common theme, decrease departmental boundaries and shift focus to
reward long-term outcomes. In 2000 she was named one of the 25 Most Innovative
Women in the Twin Cities by CityBusiness. In May of 2007 Victoria received her
Doctorate in Public Administration from Hamline University for her work on
calculating the taxpayer cost savings from juvenile crime prevention programs.
Victoria served for eight years on the Minnesota Governor’s Council of
Geographic Information, most recently co-chairing its Strategic Planning
Committee. She is now chair of the Statewide Geospatial Advisory Council. She
also serves on the MetroGIS Policy Board and was its Chair through 2008.
