Jeff has been the Farm Service Agency's State Geodata Administrator for Minnesota since 2003. He serves as lead for all projects related to emergency management, coordinates all GIS efforts for FSA in Minnesota in response to farm programs delivered by FSA, and develops, implements and supports all GIS training activities for over 400 employees using ArcGIS. Previously, he worked for MN Planning, the State of Minnesota's planning office, coordinating state agency and local government planning and GIS efforts; for the Rice County Planning Department as a long range planner; and for the Winona County Planning and Zoning Department as a planning consultant.
Jeff received a B.A. in Urban and Regional Studies and Geography from the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and an M.S. in Resource Analysis from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, Winona.
