Members have been appointed for two new councils that will provide policy advice to the new Minnesota Geospatial Information Office (MnGeo):

  • The State Government Geospatial Advisory Council will focus on state agency issues
  • The Statewide Geospatial Advisory Council will address issues of concern to the wider GIS community
The two councils will be supplemented and supported by work teams and technical committees that had previously functioned under the auspices of the Minnesota Governor's Council on Geographic Information. Non-council members are welcome and encouraged to participate on committees.
