Nominations sought for Governor's Commendations - deadline July 31

Description: A Governorís Commendation is the highest award given to any geospatial project in Minnesota. Awards will be made at the 2013 annual Mn GIS/LIS conference in Rochester

A Governorís Certificate of Commendation is the highest award given to any geospatial project in Minnesota. Awards will be made at the 2013 annual Mn GIS/LIS conference in Rochester.

The project must have:

  1. yielded tangible benefits and exceptional results
  2. had a significant impact outside the home organization
  3. furthered at least one of the goals in the guiding principles for the award

The value of the product must be documented quantitatively in numbers and qualitatively with testimonials from users. Details are provided at the commendations webpage.

Submission deadline is July 31, 2013.
