Survey about Aerial Imagery Needs for Minnesota

Goal:  Develop a statewide aerial imagery acquisition program that can meet the needs of the widest possible group of stakeholders.

MnGeo and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources are spearheading an effort to make aerial photography more affordable and accessible in Minnesota. Although there is much imagery available in Minnesota, the state has no sustainable program in place assuring that new imagery will be collected on a regular basis in the future.

Responses to this short survey will help us identify the most popular and suitable imagery and acquisition characteristics.

The survey closed October 15, 2012.

Results to follow

Preliminary results were presented at the Minnesota GIS/LIS Consortium Conference on October 5, 2012 and a full summary of survey results will be provided later this year, linked from this webpage.
